New teaser (Major Spoiler), suggestion needed!
Hi, because of the story driven, I have to change the Dark Emperor appearance ( You know, he gain more power), so he, step by step restore his true form, if you look before, he was like half mummy/half human.
Now, he gain more and more power, I try to make him cool in some ways.
Please respond ASAP, so if you guys don't like his new app, I can change him immediately.
And Dark queen appearance too ^_^

Oh by the way, I'm writing the dialogues now, maybe if you guys can help edit them, I can finish it sooner.
So, any volunteers ? (since it will be a very MAJOR SPOILER! hahaha.)

Great teaser ! Amazing pictures, though I'd rather see the New Queen and Shadow Blue look even more evil. We clearly can see they have fallen for the Dark Emperor, but in my opinion they don't seem "corrupted" enough, like corrupted Yellow for instance. Anyway, awesome work and can't wait for Gaia 4 ! ^^

ReplyDeleteshe should be mor sinister, more cruel! dark eyeshadow, full dark lips, long black talons and maybe long platform boots with the leather/latex outfit to match... or something like that

Hi galforld great pictures, i didnt know that dark emperor gets younger and stronger but i think its a cool idea but dont put much work in his appereance since we are more interest in womens :).
ReplyDeleteMy suggestion for dark queen is that she has to look young sexier and sluttier with diferent costumes that satisfy everyone, personally i loved her appearance in your section "ask the queen".
And finally i think that her corruption has to be noticed in her action and ways not necessarily in the way she looks.
Have you already decided what to do with Shadow Rangers' Blue (Jane) in her non-corrupted form? I thought you were unsatisfied with her changing looks in the first few issues, while you were okay with the later issues (she gets transformed in #7). That's not to say that I don't welcome this unexpected additional updated look: this hairstyle is a lot more menacing than the original one! (Though I wonder how she gets her hair like this. >_<) Certainly hope she keeps her fangs from her old look.

I have experience as a proofreader and similar assisting tasks, I have all the time in the world, and I'm a perfectionist so I'll give it my all. It's just that I'm not a native English speaker myself (Dutchman). My English is very good, but it's likely not completely 100% perfect (damn those prepositions!! ^^), so I think a native speaker would be a better candidate. You can count on me, though, if you want my assistance.

No conceptual problem with the Dark Emperor getting younger/stronger, though I think the abs may be a bit excessive--it looks like he has a 10-pack now?
ReplyDeleteAlso not real sure about the scale patterns on the Dark Queen. You do a lot better than anyone else I've seen in making scaled textures on human-types look decent, but it seems like something like that should be kept to the girls with snake or other scale-related themes. Possibly a little more contrast on the markings on her forehead and such as well, can't see them at all in the hot tub shot--unless they're designed to be largely unnoticeable, but flaring up when she uses her powers or something.

ReplyDeleteNa, I'm kidding. This one looks very good aswell G9, good job. I really like how you've made the Dark King much more "perfect" than in previous comics. Also I agree with the othes that the dark queen looks to "light".
Further, you can always ask me for help, it's not a problem. However since I'm in deep with Shinra on a *shysss* project I'm afraid I won't be able to finish your works that fast. If noone else want's to help ofc, but it might be wise to get another proofreader - especially since we always seem to get derailed whenever we talk. :)
Looks good. But the Emperor shouldnt have hair on his head. Its not his style at all.
ReplyDeleteIn my personal opinion, I think the dark queen looks not evil enough, she needs more make up/ piercing/ body transforming to be a real queen!

ReplyDelete1. The new Dark Emperor images are OK. If in fact he was a young man when he entered the place which empowered his evil there are two strong possibilities. First, if vampiric in nature, he would keep the age and appearance he had at the moment he was turned to evil. However, if not actually vampiric but solely evil, there is a strong chance that his appearance would convert to something more hideous with the possibility that like Al he could change that appearance on command. I rather like the older Black Emperor since to be embraced by his hideous self willingly would be a sure sign of corruption and not simply seduction.
2. The appearance of the Queen is an excellent touch although the older Queen's attire and tiara should be kept. The presence of reptilian textured skin is consistent with the transformation that occured in our lovely pink clad ex-Ranger.
3. I dislike Blue's hair style which seems a lot less sexy than even the pixie cut you use for some of the females like Pink. That is simply a question of personal taste. Long hair pulled into a sexy pony tail works.
4. You might want to make reference to the fact hat Pink has been addicted to the drugs in the cigarettes, not necessarily he nicotine which is addictive. Some further levels of corruption might be needed to support this transformation.
5. Pink's body shape is excellent in the new pictures.

ReplyDeleteIndeed the dark queen should look sexier sluttier and a stronger theme which makes it in conjunction with ur corruption theme e.g for yellow you used snake so for the dark queen you should make her feel stronger than that of corrupted yellow as well as sexier and sluttier
