i think it would be nice if you release g6,7,8,9 before your make SR 1,2,3,34,5,6,7! that the fans have not wait over a year how the story continues! But only if your have now your models for the story so that they not change in the past than. that you must change they in the future after your make SR again

Whatever we will do, we will most definitely not make everyone wait needlessly long for Gaia. That's a promise.
DeleteNo matter how excited we are about doing Shadow Rangers all over, the fact remains that it's an old series, so it's less important. Gaia is not going to suffer just because we want to re-tell an old story.
The way I imagine it, is that we'll do a SR remake issue whenever we feel we need a little break. It's very likely that the remake will be an easier job compared to other issues because most of the story will be more or less the same.
There is NO way that we'll do all those remake issues first before we do anything else.
And for those that missed it: Shadow Rangers Zero will contain story and info that is very relevant for the Gaia series too.
Let's not forget that the main villain is the same in both Shadow and Gaia. And with Lucian, there is a second bad guy of importance in the Gaia story. How did he get into the picture? That's what we'll explore as well in Zero.
So in that regard, you could picture Shadow Rangers Zero as a sort of Gaia Rangers 5.5!

I personally didn't like how quickly and suddenly the Shadow Rangers series ended, so we'll be extra careful to provide an ending that satisfies everyone. If that means 3 smaller issues instead of 2 big ones...I don't know. We'll see.
GAIA 7 will end the series? =P then perhaps GAIA 6 and 7 will be pretty long cos going by pattern it took 2 chapters for 1 chapters to be corrupted for both pink and yellow O.O

Kudos to you by the way for developing your early characters. I'm all for it. That will only make this universe more fleshed out and inviting.

The new girl next to Alayeh has never been seen or mentioned before, but she'll turn out to be very important. A key role, so to speak.

There is something realy weird about either the face or the head itself.
DeleteIt looks like the head is too big, so we suddenly have an anime character in the comic!
Also, and I don't know if that's the result purely from the big head, she looks a lot younger than the original model, while we made the decision to make her somewhat older.
I'm not too thrilled about this change, I'm sorry.
But...she is pretty T_T (IMO)...

Hope you will go for a look that is close to her old and original one. Alayeh looked hot in the later parts of SR.

As has been mentioned before, there are 2 sides of this "history lesson":
Delete-events in the human world
-events in the elf community
At the time of writing this, it's still not clear if it's feasible to put both parts in one complete package. The script exists for both the "complete" option and the "human side only" option, so that's not the problem. The problem is seeing how big the entire thing will become.
It's no secret that we're making you people wait a loooooooooooong time for a new comic, so the last thing we need is to make another beast of a comic issue.
I'd greatly prefer to keep it simple by going for the complete package option, but in order to do that, the package may need to be split anyway.
The good news is that G9 already is making the comic pictures. The character models and the backgrounds are done.

How old is she?
The uniform picture looks like a Uniform for trainees who become a Ranger or for Ranger who works in the office! or a training uniform.
The main characters in this comic are designed to be a little older than the Shadow and Gaia team. Think of them as being around 27 years old. At least, that's how I think of them.

No, I don't see that happening. We would need to bend the SR story for that, while it's the intention to keep it the same as much as possible.

Now it's just a matter of grasping how big this'll make the story.
If it turns out to be too many pages, we may need to split the thing in half as to not make you wait too long. Splitting in half (to avoid confusion) merely means that we'll release the first half already when it's done, while we immediately continue working on the second half.
But as of this moment, that's still a little too early to tell.

ReplyDeleteBecause we were working on both SR0 and Gaia6 at the same time, it was more practical to keep every update in their own respective thread instead of making a bunch of new threads every time there was a new picture to be posted.
DeleteNow that all the models, backgrounds, and other prerequisites for SR0 are ready and we're now fully focusing on SR0, it's a good time to follow your advice and start making new threads again.
There is no better way to make obvious that something new has been added than by making a fresh new thread, after all.
Great shower scene for megan.Still, the two first pictures give a "wet" feeling (texture of skin, etc) but not the third one. Laziness maybe ?
