Okey, they look good. I really thaugt the dojo looked empty in Gaia 6. I think i understand why know xD
ReplyDeleteBut this scene really doesnt make any sense storywise. It could probably have been a scene where one of them was hitting on the other but that the other person, for some reason couldnt do it and that this later could been part in their turning to evil.
But i think it was right to cut this. It looks great though. :)
Of course it won't fit the story.

Acctually it does fit the story now when i think about it, if we assume that this took place after the dojo scene in Gaia 6. It could be used as a flachback in later episodes like when they are being turned. It could be used against them xD

DeleteI agree completely with Kain! This storyline actually makes it much more exciting because rangers themselves are hardly perfect just like in the old shadow rangers when 1 of them was actually a lesbian? So certain inherent dark elements within the rangers e.g: Mei having a crush on Leona might be a good tool to use to corrupt and break Mei such as an illusion to scam her into believing?
ReplyDeleteOne problem with this idea is that it has been used before, on Jane in shadow rangers. So maybe it isnt such a good idea to use the same story agian.
DeleteI do however think that it could be a good idea to try to explain why they turn bad. Sure hypnotism, branwashing and all of that funny stuff that we all love and enjoy ;). But why does it work? And how do the bad guys do it? Arent any person able to resist? Jane could resist it for a while. And Lisa could resist it verry long in Shadow rangers.
Well just my thoughts on the issue.
Indeed it wouldnt be very creative to copy directly the storyline from shadow rangers but if G9 tweaked it, it could turn out to be absolutely brilliant!
DeleteIf we use the "forbidden love" between Mei and Leona as a key to Mei corruption, it would be the same as Jane on original Shadow Rangers, just like Kain said.

That's why I didn't put the scene in the comic.
(Of course the dialogue are different ^_^)
What I haven't do in the original and also the new one is, when the girl is voluntary join the dark side.
And I'll put it on this series. I won't tell you who will be the one to go to the dark side.

Since it's an adult comic, then maybe sex would be the reason. But I haven't decide it yet.

And also I've read The sleeping beauty trilogy by Ann Rice. For someone who loves to read you can check it.
It's a good novel too, but it's more mind break rather than mind control. Which is good for my plot here.
Well so far with Amy and Jane it seems that the breaking is based on some issues within the persons. Amy was sad right? and Jane well, she was horny. And Kate, i dont know se was horny, and what in love?

G9, what i mean with the questions why characters are being turned is, lets call it their personal reason for turning bad. After all, everyone you have turned so far in both series, have been turned in a different way and some times i think for different reasons.
DeleteWhat i am after, i guess, is a little more obvious reason as to why the character is being turned. For most times i think it really is obvious like with Kate, Amy and Jane. Lisa was more of a mystery to me.
I get that the sex with the Emperor is a big reason or even the main reason :) But it seems to me that every single ranger so far need to be broken or weakened before that, in some way or another? And that they must be vulnerable in some way even before that.
And no i dont know of any novells with mind breaking/controling theme. I just now a lot of movies and tv-series that have it in some way or another.
:O this deserves more pages and be put (at least as an extra)in the series ^_^

Oh and one more thing, on another post you said you are no artist. Well, that may be true, but artist isn't the one who create the brushes and pencils, not even the one who can sculpt or paint, artist is the one who's work can go through the barrier of space and time and transmit an a feeling, to another one (well it's more like an ideology but you got the message XD ) and whit each work you make, you become closer to achieve that ;) .

I just use them (pose, render, morph) not "make" all the objects, so I'm not a CG Artist, someone else deserved to be called as "Genuine" CG Artist.^_^

Those are not morph, but props. You can buy them at renderotica. It's quite costly, but it really worth it.
It's called Lali's Bit (Erogenesis)
But for now you must use poser to use it. The Daz version is not released yet.
Arduino is good, but the problem's occur when you put another morph to it. Sometime it crashed like hell or not working at all... >_<
