To all fans (I have fans... yay!), donators, everyone who support me,
I want to say THANK YOU from my deepest heart (>_<)
I never dream something like this, what I did just make a comic, a very simple comic, and yet you guys support me from 0, yeah, from the first time Shadow Ranger show up on g.e hentai, discussion on g.e forum
and then make this blog.
I'm very panick when I realized my hard disk which consist all my works, morphs, scenes, runtime folder suddenly dead.
I lost everything, and I realized I was wrong (T_T, yes, I'm crying in joy)
I have lots of friend here, even we didn;t know each other, where we live, but we just like good friends already,
All I can repay for you, I promise to make better comics for you all, and pray may you guys be blessed in your life.
To, Mpgrey, Shinra, Kyle, Francis, etc... I really really appreciate your help here. I promise I'll use the money to make the comic better and better.
I even will use your name all in the comic...(it's up to you, want to be heroes name, villains name or even girls name >_<).
Now, I'll prepare everything again...
It'll take some time, but I'll do my best...

By the way I have the last "backup" of one of my "beta phase" comic.
This files is used to send to mpgrey to correct the english.
So you guys will understand the complex works of mpgrey on my comic.
If you count the number of error on grammar, picture glitches, etc, that's what mpgrey do in the comic.
You should thank him enough, by sending chocolate maybe?
The english is still bad, it was not released because it didn't pass the "G9Comics seal of quality"

Don Kanonji is the character your thinking about haha, and just got done reading through your "beta phase" of Violet... loved it the rendering was amazing, and the grammar was easy enough to follow to the extent that if their were any errors i missed them, wish you best of luck in your attempts to get back in the game but think of it this waythis time around you know exactly what you want and how to do it, so it should be way easier, we can wait as long as needed to see you continue your work

So here i am leaving the country for London a couple of days and what happens while i´m gone. Total chaos. xP
ReplyDeleteI was wondering when G9 would lose everything due to computer problems. But really G9, didnt you get worried after Shinras problem and made copies of all you work to avoid the same fate?
A well its just to start from the beggining and start all over again. With the support you get i guess that it would be a little bit easier to restart everything. But please, save your work on your computer and on a external hard drive.
But don´t worry you will recuperate from this.

DeleteIt's all happened after I "Copy" all the data to a brand new hard disk.
I bought a 2TB seagate about two months ago.
Because the hard disk was too full.
So I move all the data to the new hard disk "AND"
use the old hard disk as my "movie" hard disk.
You know where I put all my movie, song, etc...
And...
This all happened...
Yes i have to say that really is hard to belive. That really sucks. So i guess you from now on will make two security copies.

I just writed to say that "Violet" was a pretty nice comic
and also that I think you've progressed in english a lot since you started . You might still need mpgrey of course, but the dialogues are already much better than your firsts.
About your comic "Violet" I believe you've done a good work with the faces . The main character is very expressive ! Also I think you progressed on rendering the sex scenes . They were very nicely done on this comic and I only regret we don't have more like those in your Rangers series.
Well finally I hope your technical difficulties will not be a too major setback and hope you keep the faith !

For some updates, yesterday I finished all the hardware.
Yes, I'm upgrading some of the specs of my PC.
Thank you for your all generous donations.
I hope this "new" PC can improve G9Comics to be better.
I'll start with the software this weekend, since it will need sometime to put all the things (copying runtime folder, I think Shinra knows this boring routines... >_<)
And also manage them so, it won't look like a mess on Daz.
Wish me luck guys, so I can finish them ASAP.

DeleteIt was supposed to be a commercial comic and you know what...I would have paid to see another one of your amazing comics even if it's a story different of your usual "style"
Glad to see that you're coming back all pumped, aaargh yes moving runtime folder is hell and I will have to go through it again as I wanna improve my backup strategy now :-/
But what's taking me a loooot of time as well is reorganising and categorising my database >_<
