Finally a new comic is coming! I like DC/Marvel super heroines being mind controlled and brainwashed stories so much, can’t wait to see the new comic! Do we have a chance to know that how many pages you guys wanna make and how long it might still take?
The comic is mostly done already. It looks like we'll end up with around 130 or so story pages. It's a complete story that is finished on the final page, so there won't be multiple chapters. You're primarily waiting for me to finish my text job. I have no idea how long I'll need, but the waiting length will be more tolerable than what you're used to from us. ;)
Because this is a Marvel Comics parody, we want to experiment and make it resemble an actual Marvel comic, including the (dreaded) narrative boxes, something I'm not good at...
I think the previous time was with Crypt Raider. That was also a comic that G9 had been making in secret and that arrived basically complete in my inbox. Though while there ended up being a lot to adjust in Crypt Raider, this new comic Purple Reign feels completely right from start to finish already, so it's just the text I need to sink my teeth in.

And this whole mess has a chance to go on like this if you pick up this discussion again. Look, I'm trying to let this die down with the least amount of damage. I'm not going to immediately ban people for a very lousy taste in humor that only the writer himself finds funny. I gave drakath a warning and further posts containing the same trash WILL be deleted, just like the original post has been deleted. That may be mildly scolding, but that's the way I try to solve these issues before they can blow up completely. Be the sensible one and don't let an insult of one random internet person destroy your whole mood. Now let's leave this mess behind us, okay?

Ignoring internet trolls is the best method for when someone is specifically targeted by them. In this case, these comments are polluting a blog that has nothing to do with the content of these posts. I could ignore them (which I would prefer to do), but then there is always someone else who gets triggered by these posts and lights up the fire again. This is the internet. People don't need to agree with each other. G9MPcomics attracts many readers, so there is bound to be a wide variety ranging from the far left to the far right. That is fine and doesn't matter for what you're all here on this blog for.

I'm over halfway done. I'd like to be able to give any prediction about when I can reach the finish line, but I'm still not too sure yet. I'm trying to get it done before the end of October, but November seems more likely. This comic will have different text than what we usually write, and that simply takes longer.
So the text style will look like a real marvel comic, I’m really looking forward to it! In the past I imagined many times how great it could be if someone creates a real Marvel/DC comic style of mc/corruption work. And you guys really make it come true! Thank you sooo much G9 and MP! Can’t wait for it!
There isn't any schedule or anything. At some point, G9 just decides to go back to the rangers, and then we'll be in for another big chapter. When this will happen, though... I don't know either.
Hi Mpgrey, I am just curious. I thought the comic would be finished when you finish the dialogue. Why are you talking like it's not up to you to decide when would the comic be finished?
It is up to me to decide, and it's almost ready but not 100% yet. It is always the case that a few new things pop up. Sometimes one fix causes a different new error. G9 can make a mistake when copying my text or misinterpreting what I meant, but it can also be the software that causes a problem. Sometimes I see new things that I missed before or change my mind about something in the text. Sometimes a suggestion for a fix ends up not solving the problem, and we need to try something else.
It always takes a few versions of final adjusting until the whole package is as perfect as we can make it.
Seems impossible for a Friday release, it’s now Friday evening already(EU time zone). Hope it can be done on Saturday. I’m really looking forward to it
