Hello to you all. This is mpgrey here doing the uploading for a change.
We've all been eagerly waiting for G9's private life to become stable again so that he can have the luxury again of making pretty pictures and comics. Unfortunately, that moment still hasn't arrived yet. His life has been a roller coaster ride since early November with only a couple of highs among too many lows. As I'm writing this, it's definitely a low again. Once again he is away from home in order to help and support his hospitalized mother. Private life and real life job are paused again, let alone his life as "G9". Internet connection over there varies from poor to nonexistent, so that explains why he has hardly shown himself on this blog the past months, and, if you follow us on Pixiv or Deviantart, why it takes ages for him to answer your messages.
A proper global summary of his life during the past few months would be "stuck within hospital walls with little more than a laptop as distraction". It's far from ideal, but he HAS been able to spend time on a few pictures, such as the super robot picture from the previous topic and the Mai Shiranui and Chun-Li pictures below this text.
However, earlier today I was sent the 8 pictures above, along with the message that he is making the most of his time by trying to make 2 new comics. One is the Ninja Gaiden comic that was revealed earlier. I don't have any new pictures of it, but it's good to know that it's still alive. And the other comic has to do with the 8 pictures above. The (working?) title is "Daireiger V" and it instantly reminds me, and probably many of you, of his oldest comics.
Apparently, if we leave G9 in isolation long enough, this is his default state his creative mind returns to. >_< As you can see in the file names of the pictures, he has already made quite a lot so this looks promising enough, I'd say. Let's hope he'll be back soon with more and better news.
Best wishes for G9 and his family. Sincerely hope his life turns around to a good direction.
ReplyDeleteThe 8 new renders look good, really good.
Hope G9 and his family stay save and healthy. We look forward to this new project 😬👌🏻
ReplyDeletethose new costumes are amazing!!! i hope g9 and his mom end up well
ReplyDeletesuper excited for a new comic. this reminds me of zerion and that can only be a good thing. hope it drops sooner than later!!
I am willing to donate money every month for his work. Some examples could be good models. Depending on the amount of support, we release comics more quickly, etc.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your confidence. You could sign up for Patreon or for the Pixiv Fanbox for a monthly donation if you wish to do so.
DeleteI believe the big goal for the money that's made from donations is for G9 to buy a more powerful pc that can handle more and thus make even prettier pictures.
It won't necessarily lead to comics being done faster, but they will surely be of even higher quality.
