Sorry, I missed the Halloween this year.
So, maybe these pictures will replace it?

Gaia 6 has been too much for me right now, but these pics can help me release stress a little bit...

I have zero idea about the FFXIII trilogy.
I don't even know the main villain of the story, I only played the first one, didn't finish it.
The story was too confusing, and then I played the Lighting Return, and it was a very different game.
Like... it was not Final Fantasy anymore >_<.
That's why there's no Filthy Fantasy XIII so far, sorry.

Lara reboot looks good. If you were to do another Filthy Fantasy could it be with Lightning and Serah? Or could we at least just get a pic? =) your older model of Lighting was nice

DeleteI was liking that short teaser comic you had with Yuna, Lightning, and Seymour. More corrupted Yuna aint a bad thing at all either. I don't know how accepting FF purists are with crossovers, but who cares!

ReplyDeleteI'm sure you'll be finishing Gaia 6 first but if you do end up doing another Filthy Fantasy, i would LOVE it to be Filthy Fantasy XIII like the other poster above mentioned, based on Lightning and Serah
Serah would be corrupted first and then Lightning at the end. as long as it's harder for the bad guy to corrupt Lightning!
(my only complaint about Crypt Raider was that Lara's corruption seemed like it was easier and faster than Sam was)

ReplyDeletehonestly, when you get a chance, give the original XIII a try. the bad guy sucks so if you ever did a story, you'd just want to make something up (which you've done before really)
but i see more people appreciating the original XIII more these days, now that XV is out and has been pretty divisive
... anyway, i just want a new g9 comic :(

Deletea suggestion for a comic would be for Jun to infiltrate the Galactor group (berg katse) and upon being discovered, she tries to use the Aurora Ribbon but something goes wrong and then she begins to receive sexual excitement stimulous from Sosai X and Gel Sadora, which makes Jun to become a double agent.

True! Berg Katse (the villain) it's a cyclical hermaphrodite, that shifts between being male or female at will. A master of disguise!

DeleteWhen was it again that I mentioned that? Sometime during the early months of this year?
Back then, Gaia 6 was proceeding smoothly. Some 60 or so pages were already done. "Of course" we were going to get it done before the end of the year!
...And then life happened. G9 couldn't do any comic work for 3 full months during the summer (compared to how that always used to be just one month), then had a small period of having trouble getting the gears turning again (motivation trouble because the comic needed a new impulse), and then when Gaia 6 was finally fully on track again, RL work reared its ugly head again, and will surely do so until the end of the year.
So no, it's pretty safe to predict that 2017 will be our first year without even a single comic released. On the other hand, it was also "safe" for me to predict many months ago that Gaia 6 would be completed this year.
The lesson learned here is that we simply cannot predict anything anymore. G9 simply doesn't have the same time available to put into comics anymore as he had a few years ago. (Just like that is true for Shinra.) That is the unfortunate reality...

you know what would be fun? a 20-30 page epilogue to the original Shadow Rangers. that ending was so brilliant but I think it ended too soon. we should have seen the death, and the girls all being evil together and pleasing their new master
This is one of the worst news. Was looking so forward to it this year after mpgrey said that we would see it for sure this year. Hopefully Shinra would be able to finish his comic this year so at least we have something. If not, it will just be devastating ...

DeleteIt's not the comic making process that is causing the delay; it's the available time for comic work.
Of course we are just as disappointed that all this time passes and keeps on passing without a new release.
We'll have to wait and see what 2018 will bring.
