Gaia 6 is the comic we're working on right now. Shadow Ranger Zero 3 will be made after Gaia 6. It's an embarrassing 4 years since Gaia 5 was made, so it's about time we get to see how the Gaia girls are doing.
OMG G9 IT LOOKS SOOOOO GOOOOD!! Btw the 2nd last pic the queen's outfit looks a little weird for some reason which I am not sure of. Maybe because it's a little neon or maybe it's the purple or maybe it's just me?

Not necessarily. Even though time keeps on passing, it's not as we have worked every day on the comic. It's about a year ago or so that we announced that we'd start with Gaia 6, but Zerion has also been made in the meantime, and there have also been periods of inactivity. It's not a simple matter of "amount of time passed x2 = finish". End of the year is a very negative prediction, but it is certain, unfortunately, that it'll still be a long while. The dreaded july month is also looming on the horizon...
Yes I must say the wait is unbearable but inevitable I guess. This is the payoff for such good quality comics. But I am sure g9 and mp is working their arses off to get it out soon. Hopefully it will be sooner rather than later though. Over 4 years of wait is quite agonising to be fair
Can't you and shinra just do a patreon for these comics? I get that this is merely a hobby but it would bring in cash/incentive for you to work on this instead of having to constantly explain how things are stopped/delayed to the point where 6 months goes by and you have nothing to show for it.
I don't feel this is really a jackass remark. Many artists make use of Patreon in order to bring in extra cash, so it's not too outlandish of an idea.
It's just as anonymous #2 says, though. Patreon would not make a difference when it comes to motivation. The drive is still sky-high (just like that is the case for Shinra). Money is not the driving force here. They both have very demanding jobs, and both are, for different reasons, even more busy than usual.
It's true that it really sucks to constantly need to admit that progress has halted again just when we were building momentum again, but that's life unfortunately.
I think the first anonymous is trying to adress precisely the lack of time (In a rude way though). That being said, patreon or any source of income does not guarantee that things are going to be smooth, writer's block hardware/software issues, personal problems.... There are a lot of shit that delays projects (As a matter of fact there are a lot of delays on patreon). In the end a Patreon account may actually add more pressure to the creators because now they may feel compeled to show something to those who are supporting them.
Both Shinra and G9 had explained multiple times that they have no intention of doing so, they as you said before are doing this for hobbie and hobbies are supposed to be fun; We must feel grateful that they are kindly enough to share it whit us and as hard as it may be, respect their creative decisions

Nothing is on its way anytime soon, that's the unfortunate truth. G9 is currently so busy with work that no comic is being done at the moment. It's great for his personal life, actually, because being this busy means that his business is very successful, but he now has hardly any time for a normal life, let alone work on comics.
If we have better news to tell you, we'll certainly do so. Until that happens, expect that silence equals inactivity.

Long long more indeed. From the looks of it, G9 won't be able to pick up comic work again earlier than late july. This doesn't have to mean that everything will be delayed so much that we're looking at a december release, but it'll probably be at least more than a month before any work on the comic is being done.
That's difficult to answer because that all depends on what you consider "soon". I'd say it's at least halfway done, but that doesn't give any indication how long the other half takes to be completed. In short: I really can't tell yet.
Yeah, at this point I am looking forward to any G9 work. Such a fan of his work that I will not rant or beg for something. Been fan from the beginning and have liked everything. Yeah I wish for some continuation of his earlier stuff, before his hard drive crash. "Catgirl" would be one of those, but right now I wish for Pretty G Girls. The best single story, would differently be "Violet"
Now that you mention it, this is a feature that is missing so far on the blog. I can't find the setting to make this possible though. Does anyone of you happen to know how this can be enabled?
