Please read this...

Hey all, Can I have your time for a minute? (If you can read this long letter that fast ^_^)

To be honest with you, I can't explain my mixed feeling right now.
On one side, I'm really happy and can't believe how GAIA would have such "hardcore" fans like some of you, dear anonymous.
I never thought it was going to be like this. I don't even prepare a good "base" as a story for that.
Put an Elf ranger on the team? (What was I thinking >_<).
Now,  me and thank goodness I have MPgrey now, try our best to make the story interesting, and at least..."make sense".
Hence, that's why we have Shadow Rangers Zero.
Can you imagine if we put all those SR0 part 1 and 2 in GAIA 6?
How many of you will scream... "What the fuck is this? Where's Mai? Where's DE?"
That's why I decide to make it a "prequel".
So, when we continue GAIA, it'll be the Real GAIA. GAIA that you know, you love.

No, that's not true. Shadow Rangers Zero is still on Rangers universe, you can find young Leona, Alayeh, Al etc...

But on the other side, now I understand why MangaKa or sometime game director don't think their best work/most popular work as their favourite.
Even if... maybe, that work would be their best, it can become so stressful beyond belief, that bring bad memories for him/her.
That's true.
You can say, hey G9, isn't that your hobby? That's your own story, right?
Yes, but no...
I swear, it's really stressful, all the hype I made, sometime becomes my own burden, I don't want to fail my main comic. I don't want to make fans disappointed, etc...
Plus my perfectionist side keeping telling me to make it as good as possible.
In the end, I more enjoy making comic that I do enjoy rather than my main comic.

Making comic for an amateur like me is also a learning process,
I'm not Takeshi Maekawa or Chuuka Naruto or other established artist who don't need to learn anything when working.
I'm in a trial and terror process all the time.
Full rendering course was too expensive for me. (and my English maybe not sufficient to listen to the tutor on the net). For example...
GAIA 5, is the first GAIA using "full ambient occlusion" render in 3Delight. (DAZ)
I don't want to use that before I really comfortable / confident with that.
That's why my first comic using that AO is PGS, and then Succubus.
When everything is okay, I'm making SR0-part 1
The same with Octane render.
Crypt Raider and Sin Fighter is my training ground for Octane before I use it on SR part 2.
And It's still far from perfect.
Octane is quite a tricky render engine to be used.
Zerion is the latest thing that I use tricks so Octane will be a better render engine.
I tried to use layers rather than just a single pictures.
It's more like a Manga than a comic, it's using dynamic layout rather than static one.
I planned to use Zerion as a test, do you guys love this new format or not.

And now, we can see some more problems...
When I was too slow on releasing a comic,  some fans become furious and ask me to release their fav comic as soon as possible.
It's more and more become another deadline.
It's no different than the reason why I quit one adult comic company.
That quite give me a little bit worry.
If I didn't hear the fan, maybe I'm too selfish, but if I did... then I really lost my hobby.

For some of you 3 years is a looooong time.
For me and mpgrey? We wish a month has 60 days, hahaha...
Do you know how many pictures we need to render a comic?
Thousands. If it's animated, it's been a one hour movie. haha...
It looks like a stupid hobby, really. I spent thousands dollars to buy the new render engines, PC, and the most important is spent my free times. But it's my hobby. I love it. I don't regret it.
But! If I must do that for something that I don't like?
Maybe I'll stop it, that's not a hobby anymore.
That would be my new job, and what worse? without any payment, lol...
I just can't imagine how furious those fans if it's a "kickstarter"  project or something like "patreon".

For many times, I stated that I'm NOT A PROFESSIONAL.
I don't making comics as my job. I'm sorry for all the delay I made since I can't predict when my work can be released.
That's why I didn't ask for your money, I don't want to disappoint you. I don't want to cheat you.
I would be furious if I've paid a game and that game won't be released 3 years later.
But, no matter how much I wish Xenogears 2 to be released, I can't complain Square Enix with any reason, since they don't owe me anything.

After a long thought, I have decided these.

- GAIA 6 will be released before SR0- part 3
IF some of the story seems confusing, then you'll need to wait SR0 part 3 to be released.

- If I got stuck when I'm working on GAIA 6, I'll try to finish my Zerion alongside with GAIA 6
So, maybe Zerion will be released on time between now and when GAIA 6.
Other than that, I won't do any other projects.

So, now...
I'll take a hiatus again from this blog.
I need time to prepare everything.
I'll update when my comic is ready.
