I've finished rendering Filthy Fantasy X (Yuna). But haven't send it to mpgrey for some checks.
DeleteMaybe next week can be uploaded.
Jill will be released as a bundle with NeoRangers (tentative name) and deleted scenes from SR:0 part 1.

ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, I really can't promise when. Even PGS is a short one, but it needs lots of preparation... especially it's "circus" themed stage, and also the soldiers' costumes >_<

Maybe, it's maybe I can try to prepare it first, and we can release it between SR0 part 2 and Gaia 6, hopefully.

ReplyDeleteInspired visuals, various poses for the characters (so that they look less rigid) and a nice variety of expressions...
I also enjoyed the use of different viewpoints (the close ups mostly) that allow us to see where the focus of the scene is (what the character think or feel or which part of the body stimulated for the money scenes...)
Anyway,
Keep going in this direction!

ReplyDeleteG9 is it possible for you to upload your short comics after you have rendered it and then upload a second version after sending to mp to check? I mean I am sure many of your fans wouldn't mind little errors such as grammar or perhaps certain insignificant issues with the pictures. I am certain that we have a penchant for an earlier release rather than the to and fro between you and mp which is a slow process which we have experienced thoroughly for the release of SR0. I mean perhaps for longer comics like GAIA and SR the checks become significant. However, since you are currently releasing much shorter comics, the checks might be negligible considering the number of mistakes made will not accumulate to a huge amount... Please do consider this suggestion for your current and future short comics. Thank you :3
ReplyDeleteThere is an accident when G9 still working on Shadow Rangers (First installment). G9 got an email from someone. The content is flame/blame G9 for bad translation work, even he demand url/link to the original comic. lol
DeleteBut I believe G9 english skill is better now.
It's a logical proposal to get your comics sooner, but I do more than just grammar correcting. 4 eyes see more than 2, and that is what we use to improve the entire comic. Not just grammar, but also graphics, story, balance, speed....you know, the whole package.
DeleteUsing the Yuna story as an example, I asked for a slight improvement at the end of the comic and I mentioned how the story was hurrying too much in some places. Nothing overly big, but apparently it led to G9 giving the comic a complete facelift.
In other words, he is more than capable enough on his own to improve the comic before releasing it, but sometimes you just need other people's eyes to help you see it.
And with comics with less pages, the importance to have another look at the comic as a whole remains just as important as it is for larger comics. After all, a shorter comic can also be lacking. (Take the first Violet as an example: not many pages but still so much room for improvement.) The advantage that shorter comics have over larger comics in this matter is that we obviously need less time to work through the comic together.
And don't misunderstand, when I have pages to work with, I put around 7 hours a day into the comic, just to get everything out and ready as soon as possible.
As for the Filthy Fantasy we're now waiting for: I still don't even have the pages, so I can't be working on them.
And besides, two releases is overkill and completely anticlimatic. How many readers are really thoroughly interested to see a repaired version after having already read the main comic? 90% stays the same anyway, so it makes the finishing touches kinda unnecessary.

I'm not a fan of group sex scenes -except if it is one guy and multiple girls corrupting the heroine (lol)- as I prefer if there is a link that is build between the corruptor and the "victim".
So I'm kinda worried for the new Ranger comic and the Jill comic.
Like I said before I prefer if the corruptor is transforming the heroine so that she becomes like him and part of his "world"and loves him.
