DeleteWe're absolutely not aiming on a release specifically on Christmas. That's just what it appears to come down to.
It's still 10 days until it's Christmas. It should be possible to get it done within that time.
Trust me, I know how much work G9 can get done within a single day (and that keeps surprising me too), but then it's really a matter of putting every single available minute in the comic.
With Christmas approaching, people are often busier than usual, so it's not easy to predict if we can make full use of those 10 days.
Long story short: we're very close to release. We currently have 186 pages done. One scene still needs to be made. We have no other unfinished business anymore.
I'm extremely proud of the comic so far. We just need to deal with that one missing scene. (And think of a better title than "Shadow Rangers 0 part1".)

DeleteThe title is what makes it confusing. "We call it Shadow Rangers 0" to make it obvious that it takes place before Shadow Rangers 1, making it the chronological first issue of the Rangers comics.
In this comic, we'll take a look at the origins of the baddies in the Rangers comics: the Dark Emperor, Al, Alayeh, Lucian...where did they come from? When did it all go wrong in their world and how?
SR0 became too big while we were making it, so we decided to split it into two parts.
The first part (which is nearly done) will focus on what happened in the human world, while the second part will show the events in the elf world.
It's primarily the events that will be in part2 that are the reason we're making this comic as the "elf history lesson" is important for the remaining part of the Gaia Rangers story.
