Lol 100% agree with you. Never any good JRPG's around much. Last really good RPG I played was Persona 3. Final Fantasy 8-2 should come out, that game was awesome!!!!

Don't know what happened to Square... they just keep focusing on XIII and VII too much!
Yes I love FFVII, but that's it, it was a "perfect game" don't need to be exploited too much.
A remake maybe would be OK, but a movie, another crisis, before crisis, advent children and bla bla... that was too much.
Back to FFVIII. That should be a great game if handled as good as the seventh one.
No, it's not a bad game, pretty good actually. But
it was too rushed out... so in the end, it just ended like a half game, great characters, nice ideas, bad execution... too bad...
So that is the game that should be focused. Make it much better than the original...
If only Hironobu & gangs (You know the squaresoft combo? Hironobu Sakaguchi, Nomura, Uematsu and Amano! ^_^)still with Square...
Tetsuya Nomura is good / GREAT as a character designer, but as the leader project ? Nah...
